    Armed robbery suspect remains at large, police say

    WHEELING, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities are currently seeking one of three individuals reportedly involved in an armed robbery incident which took place in the Wheeling area on Friday.

    According to the Wheeling Police Department , at around 5:00pm on Friday, July 12, 2024, officers responded to the 29th Street area with regard to a reported robbery.

    Upon arriving at the scene, officers spoke with the victim involved, gathering preliminary information with regard to the incident. Officers also began canvassing the area for potential suspects.

    According to the victim involved, he had been walking on 29th Street when he was physically assaulted by three males who took money from him, leaving the victim with minor physical injuries.

    Responding officers located two individuals in the area who matched descriptions provided by the victim. Lyrick McGuire and Joquin Prebble were arrested and charged with robbery following the on-scene investigation.

    A third unidentified suspect, described as a dark-skinned black male with dreadlocks and freckles wearing a greenish/bluish shirt, remains at large according to investigators.
