Two arrested after strong armed robbery in Wheeling, third suspect still at large

Wheeling, W.Va. (WTRF) – Wheeling Police arrested two individuals and a third suspect remains on the loose following a strong armed robbery Friday.

Wheeling Police say that on Friday, July 12th they responded to 29th Street around 5:00pm for a robbery call.

The victim told police he was stopped by 3 males while walking on 29th Street, who physically assaulted him and took money. We’re told the victim sustained minor physical injuries.

The responding officers located two suspects matching the victim’s description and arrested them after an investigation at the scene.

Lyrick McGuire and Joquin Prebble were arrested and charged with Robbery.

The third suspect remains at large. He is described as a dark-skinned black male with freckles, dreadlocks and was wearing a green/blue shirt.
