Wheeling Island Casino to host Summer Festival including bands, food trucks and activities for all ages

WHEELING, W.Va. — Following the success of its recent Independence Day Fun Festival, Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack announced another summer event set to take place from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m .on Aug. 2, 2024.

The family-friendly fun festival is open to the public and features an array of activities, live music, delicious food and more.

Event Highlights:

• Food Trucks: Indulge in a culinary adventure with over 10 food trucks offering a diverse selection of dishes from local favorites to classic American items.
• Fun Activities for All Ages: Enjoy a day packed with carnival games, interactive experiences and entertainment suitable for all ages.
• Local Vendors: Discover offerings from various local vendors showcasing their crafts and products.
• Live Music: Get ready to groove to the sounds of live music featuring an exciting lineup:
  • 1 p.m. – DJ Daner
  • 3 p.m. – Tammy Jo & Iron Horse
  • 4:30 p.m. – Ashley Best Band
  • 6 p.m. – Rosie Gold Review
  • 7 p.m. – Devon Allen Johnson & Ruff Creek
• Beer Gardens: Relax and unwind at our Bud Light beer gardens while enjoying the festivities.
• Live Racing: Experience the thrill of live racing starting at 1 p.m., where guests can place bets and cheer for their favorites.

Free Admission! The community can enjoy all the festivities with no entry fee, rain or shine. Wheeling Island Casino says its their way of again thanking the community for their support.
