Police stop kidnapping and attempted bank robbery in downtown Redding
REDDING, Calif. — A man from Indiana was arrested in Redding on Wednesday morning following a kidnapping and attempting bank robbery. At 8:18 a.m. on Wednesday morning, July 3, the Redding Police Department (RPD) says officers responded to reports that a suspect was armed with a firearm in the 2700 block of Crystal Tree Drive. While responding, officers learned the armed suspect had left in a vehicle with a victim.
