Face painting, magic shows, and petting zoo are highlights of Children’s Day at Carroll County Fair
Children flocked to the vendor area at the Carroll County Agriculture Center in Westminster Tuesday for face painting, a magic show, music, a petting zoo and sidewalk chalk, all meant to teach them more about agriculture and farming. It was the 127th Carroll County 4-H and FFA Fair’s annual Children’s Day, when children and their parents are welcome to wander the fair, stopping to get their faces painted, pet a calf, goat, pig or pony, and watch the Agricadabra and Hypnosis Show, Cowboy Circus and Hot Dog Pig Races. Sweta Sharma, of Sykesville, and her daughter, Rhea, 5, stopped at the petting zoo and the Agricadabra and Hypnosis Show.
