Four face indictments in northern West Virginia for federal firearms violations
CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Four have been indicted for violating federal firearms laws in northern West Virginia. Todd M. Houston, 35, of Morgantown, and Kayla N. Taylor, 33, of Montrose, have been charged with conspiracy to straw purchase firearms in Monongalia County. Court documents said Taylor falsified documents to purchase firearms for Houston, who is prohibited from having firearms because of prior robbery and burglary convictions in Monongalia County Circuit Court. Damson and Houston were taken into custody while attempting to sell boxes of ammunition at an area pawn shop.
