A desperate search is underway for a missing mother and her 2-year-old daughter from Maryland , who disappeared sometime last week and haven't been seen or heard from since.

The last time anyone saw Jessica Davis-Wise, 32, or her daughter, Damoni Jones, was around 5 p.m. on Friday, the Baltimore Police Department revealed in a post on X.

Anyone with information about their disappearance has been asked to call 911 or 410-307-2020. Another number listed on the Baltimore County Government's website for missing persons is 410-887-3943. The latter will be directed to the Unsolved Case Division, while the former goes to the Communications Team. Callers are able to remain anonymous, the website states.

The pair reportedly lived in White Marsh, a census-designated place and unincorporated community of about 9,500 located about 13 miles northeast of Baltimore itself. It's situated in the northeastern region of Baltimore County.

The police weren't clear about the circumstances of the disappearance beyond what was provided in the posts on X. Who reported the pair missing is unknown, and so are the circumstances leading up to that call. No other family was mentioned amid the disappearance, including the girl's father. It wasn't clear whether Davis was a single mother or not.
