Camp Festival Amadeus hosts free concerts
North Valley Music School hosts Camp Festival Amadeus, a chamber orchestra music camp for intermediate to advanced string students entering seventh through 12th grades. DREAM Adaptive Recreation and Backcountry Xperiences making waves with new partnership
This summer, DREAM Adaptive Recreation launched a new partnership with Backcountry Xperiences to enhance motorized water sports programs.Backcountry Xperiences is providing over $40,000 of in-kind goods and services through donating boats, coaches, and safety jet skis for all of DREAM’s motorized water sports days on Echo and Whitefish Lakes. Additionally, they are supporting DREAM’s biking and paddle sports programs ensuring participants have barrier-free experiences on the water as well as the trails. Whitefish hosts Under the Big Sky music festival this weekend
Big Mountain Ranch in Whitefish hosts the annual Under the Big Sky music festival July 12-14.Thousands of concertgoers are expected to turnout for a lineup that includes country music star Miranda Lambert, bluegrass musician Billy Strings and Americana roots act the Turnpike Troubadours.Flathead-based acts like Archertown, Badger Hound, Tomara, Miller Campbell, Denim Gold; along with Bozeman-based artists like Abby Webster and Madeline Hawthorne; and Missoula’s favorite sweethearts, The Lil Smokies, will also take the stage at the festival.The festival opens Friday at 3 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m. The event continues Saturday and Sunday from noon to 11 p.m.Free shuttles will run throughout the festival from Big Mountain, downtown Whitefish and Columbia Falls. Shuttles start at 2 p.m. Friday, and at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.On site parking is complimentary for ticket holders. Overnight parking and camping is prohibited. RVs must be under 35 feet including attachments.This is the fifth year of the festival hosted by Outriders Present productions.

Twelfth annual Woody Weekend
Whitefish Woody Weekend XII entertained crowds last weekend. The event, hosted by The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, took place June 28-30. It was the 12th edition of the show, presented by the Big Sky Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society, and is recognized as one of the premier classic boat shows in the Pacific Northwest.
