    Anthony Wayne tied for fourth at PGA National Invitational

    FRISCO, Texas — The Anthony Wayne boys golf team sits in a tie for fourth at 573 through two rounds of the three-round PGA High School Golf National Invitational at PGA Frisco.

    The Generals, who shot 295 on the Fields Ranch West course after posting a 282 on Monday at WestRidge Golf Course in McKinney, Texas, are tied with Hilton Head (S.C.) Prep, the South Carolina Independent School Association Class 3A champion.

    Logan Sutto is the top individual for Anthony Wayne through two rounds, tied for eighth at 139 after shooting a 71 on Tuesday. He is six shots behind leader Ben Wheeler of Lee’s Summit (Mo.) Summit Christian.

    AW’s Michael Distefano is tied for 34th at 144 after shooting a 75 on Tuesday. Ted Robertson (71 on Tuesday) is tied for 47th at 145, while Ian Briars (74 on Tuesday) and Myles Murphy (75 on Tuesday) are tied for 70th at 147.

    Alpharetta Rivers Academy of the Georgia Independent Athletic Association is first at 564. Austin Lake Travis, the University Interscholastic League Class 6A champion in Texas, is second at 570, while Milton, the Georgia High School Association Class 7A champion, is third at 571.
