KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Both drivers were seriously injured after a pickup hit a tractor along a rural highway in Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that around 4:45 p.m. on Friday, July 19, emergency crews were called to the area of southbound Highway 65 and Mather Rd., south of Sedalia, with reports of a 2-vehicle collision.

The victim stated her ex-boyfriend came over and started causing property damage and caused some injuries. The suspect fled the scene before Officers arrival. The suspect has been identified, and state charges are being requested.
MSHP Arrest Reports for July 19, 2024
The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 33-year-old Shane B. Kroske of Warsaw at 8:32 a.m. Thursday in Benton County. He now faces charges of driving while revoked, failure to comply with ignition interlock, and he was also wanted on two Pettis County misdemeanor warrants. Kroske was taken to the Benton County Jail, where he was booked and released.
Two Injured in Pettis County Tractor Accident
Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Friday afternoon in Pettis County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2013 Ford F-150, driven by 59-year-old William A. Anderson of Clinton, was on US 65, one-half mile south of Mather Road around 4:45 p.m., when the Ford overtook and struck a slow-moving 2009 John Deere tractor, driven by 36-year-old Phillip M. Staus of Sedalia.
