The Danville Otterbots and the Tri-State Coal Cats played in an exciting series finale on Friday. The ballgame would go to sudden death and the Coal Cats would successfully stop the Otterbots from scoring to earn the win and sweep the Danville Otterbots. For the first time this season, the Otterbots have been swept at home.

INDIANAPOLIS — Josh Berry, who’s No. 4 car had Fever star Caitlin Clark on its hood, crashed to begin Stage 3 at Sunday’s Brickyard 400. Berry got turned around and spunout seconds after Martin Truex Jr. hit the wall due to contact with Kyle Larson in the short chute between Turns 3 and 4.
Rain holds off for the Brickyard 400; timing out rain chances this week

Fishers resident heads to Ironman World Championship
Fishers resident Kyle Gabbard has qualified to compete this fall in the annual Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. The Ironman World Championship is a Hawaii-based competition that features “the very best male professional and age-group triathletes from around the world,” according to the organization. The competition, which attracts about 2,000 international competitors, is a combined 140.6-mile event that consists of swimming in Kailua Bay, biking along the coast and running through barren lava fields.
