(CBS) -- Crews were searching Lake Michigan on Friday evening for two missing boaters who jumped into the water near Whiting, Indiana.Officials said a boat with 12 people on board was sailing in the lake near Whiting. Convicted felon sentenced again on gun charges in Peoria
PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man has been sentenced to 55 months in prison, along with three years of supervised release for being a felon in possession of a firearm. 39-year-old Alan Collins was previously convicted of felony offenses in 2004 and 2005 in Cook County, along with two prior federal convictions for firearm possession in the Central Districts of Illinois in 2008 and 2014, according to the Department of Justice.
