Des Moines police investigating potential road rage shooting

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department is investigating a shooting that may have been the result of a road rage incident Wednesday night.

According to a DMPD X post , the shooting occurred near the intersection of 2nd Avenue and University Avenue. Police said there were no injuries, but the victim’s vehicle did sustain damage.

There’s no indication of any danger to the neighborhood, police said. An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
