NEWTON, Iowa — NASCAR announced on Thursday that the Cup Series will be returning to the Iowa Speedway in 2025.

The NASCAR Cup Series made its debut at the Iowa Speedway in June this year and officials said it was an unforgettable weekend. Tickets for the Iowa Corn 350 powered by Ethanol were completely sold out before they were officially on sale.

“This is such an incredible win for NASCAR fans in the state of Iowa,” Eric Peterson, Iowa Speedway president, said in a press release. “Thanks to their support, and the support from our partners at Iowa Corn and Hy-Vee, we sold out the entire NASCAR Cup Series weekend this year. We can’t wait to welcome them all back in 2025 for what promises to be another unforgettable weekend of racing at the Fastest Short Track on the Planet.”

The 2025 race weekend is scheduled for Saturday, August 2 with the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ Hy-Vee PERKS 250. The Iowa Corn 350 powered by Ethanol will be held the following day on Sunday, August 3.
