MADISON COUNTY, Ind. –A man from Pendleton was arrested for domestic battery Sunday morning.

State Police say they served a search warrant at a Pendleton home on 48-year-old Daniel Robert Penticuff at around 10 am over an incident they say happened on Saturday August 24.

On Saturday, investigators say Penticuff got into an argument with a woman at a Madison County residence that the two of them shared. The argument went from verbal to physical and the woman ended up with injuries.

At some point, investigators she was able to get away from Penticuff and go to a hospital for medical treatment.

Penticuff was interviewed by police and eventually surrendered. He is preliminarily charged with domestic battery, criminal confinement, and strangulation. All three of those charges are Class 6 felonies.

The ISP North SWAT team assisted the ISP Central Swat team during the execution of the search warrant.
