WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Children’s Miracle Network received a generous donation after a weekend block party fundraiser.

The Robbins Family Ace Hardware presented CMN with a check for $50,000 on Monday, July 1, 2024. The donated money is from proceeds from a weekend block party celebrating the store’s 100th anniversary.

All proceeds are from the Robbins’ Family Ace Hardware stores in Wichita Falls, Bowie, Iowa Park, Burkburnett, and Vernon.

Manager Ben Robbins said it is an honor to participate in this fundraising event. “We really just feel like we’ve been blessed, and we want to give back a really good group here at United Regional to give back to the local kids here that really need it.”

Children’s Miracle Network and United Regional will promote a new neonatal premature newborn intensive care unit.
