WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Wichita Falls police have arrested a man they believe is homeless after he admitted to entering a city building, where he reportedly took food and power tools.

James Wesley Behan, 49, is charged with burglary of a building. Around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, a Wichita Falls Central Service Complex employee found a door ajar.

He told police that food items and power tools were missing. Some of the missing items were found but appeared to have been placed where they could be taken later.

Police looked at the surveillance video and recognized Behan, who they believe is homeless. Later that day, an officer said he saw Behan on Holliday Street carrying one of the missing power tools.

Police say Behan admitted going into the building because he found a door open and was looking for food.
