WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — The parents of four young children have signed plea deals for probation after their kids were found without clothes off Central Freeway and later all tested positive for drugs.

Lee Hunt and Brittany Keene have plea agreements for five years of probation and $1,000 fines for child endangerment. Hunt’s plea and sentencing are set for next week in 89th District Court, and Keene will appear on July 25.

PREVIOUS STORY: Parents jailed for alleged child endangerment

On September 14, 2023, police received a call about four children ages one to five running around outside Sun Valley Apartments. Numerous upset callers told officers the children were constantly left unsupervised.

The officers noticed a cut above one of the children’s eyes that appeared in need of stitches, and the child was taken to the hospital.

Officers said they found the kids’ parents, Brittany Keene and Lee Hunt, in bed in an apartment sleeping. They said neither parent knew where their children were.

Child Protective Services removed all four kids from the home, and all four later tested positive for methamphetamine and marijuana. Keane and Hunt also tested positive for the same drugs.
