WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — The mother of four children found outside without clothes near Central Freeway has pleaded guilty to child endangerment.

Brittany Keene was sentenced in a plea deal in 89th District Court on the morning of July 25, 2024, to five years probation, a $1,000 fine, and 120 hours of community service, the same sentence the father, Lee Hunt, received in his plea deal earlier this month.

On September 14, 2023, police received a call about four children ages one to five running around outside Sun Valley Apartments. Numerous callers told officers the children were constantly left unsupervised.

The officers noticed a cut above one of the children’s eyes that needed stitches, and the child was taken to the hospital.

Officers found the parents sleeping in a bed in one of the apartments. Neither parent knew where their children were.

Child Protective Services removed all four kids from the home, and all four later tested positive for methamphetamine and marijuana. Keane and Hunt also tested positive for the same drugs.
