    Planning a July 4th BBQ? See which Wichita grocery stores will be open on the holiday

    The Fourth of July is just around the corner, so if you haven’t created your holiday checklist yet, you’re probably just about to.

    Whether you’re planning on hosting a big cookout with friends and family or just planning on enjoying a laid-back holiday, it’s more than likely you’ll need more than just a stash of fireworks to prepare.

    If you find yourself without needed groceries on the holiday, it’s good to know what stores you can run to and what stores may be closed on the Fourth of July. Here’s a quick look at some Wichita grocery stores and their hours on Thursday.

    Dillon’s

    Dillon’s is open during normal operating hours on the holiday, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Hours can vary depending on location, so check with your specific location before your visit.

    Walmart

    Walmart will be open during the holiday. Operating hours may depend on the location; visit the Walmart store locator or contact your location for specific hours.

    Target

    All Target stores will be open on the Fourth of July. Normal operating hours can depend on the location. You can find the location closest to you and its hours through Target’s online store locator.

    Aldi

    All Aldi locations will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 4. The store is usually open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.

    Costco

    Costco is closed on the Fourth of July. Normal operating hours are 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

    Sam’s Club

    Sam’s Club will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for its Plus members and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for its Club members.

    Whole Foods

    Whole Foods market will be open reduced hours on the holiday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you want to make a grocery run before the reduced hours, the store is open normal hours the day before, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

    Natural Grocers

    All Natural Grocers stores are closed on the Fourth of July , so plan your visit ahead of time. Natural Grocers’ normal hours are 8:57 a.m. to 8:36 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8:57 a.m. to 7:36 p.m. Sunday.

    Trader Joe’s

    Wichita’s Trader Joe’s location will be open for limited hours on the holiday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Their normal operating hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
