    Phillips County man arrested, charged in 2021 murder

    WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A Phillips County man was arrested and charged in a 2021 murder.

    On Monday, the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office said 37-year-old Kevin L. Hadley was arrested for his alleged involvement in the shooting death of 43-year-old Janna Lea Constable. The shooting happened in the 600 block of 7th Street on Feb. 14, 2021.

    Foul play not suspected in man’s death in south Wichita

    According to court documents filed by the Phillips County Attorney, Hadley was charged with murder in the second degree or the alternative involuntary manslaughter, interference with a law enforcement officer and possession of a firearm by an intoxicated person. His bond is set at $125,000. He remains in the Phillips County Jail.
