Jeff Goldblum became a first-time dad at 62. Nearly a decade later, he’s looking back at the “great task” and what it’s taught him.

“It’s amazing,” the actor told the Independent in an interview published Sunday. “Every emotion comes up, and you are forced to examine everything that you model and could be better at. It’s a great task and opportunity.”

Goldblum, 71, has sons Charlie, 9, and River, 7, with his wife, Emilie Livingston.
