HERNANDO: Spring Hill Man Killed in Head-On Collision
BROOKSVILLE, FLa. A head-on collision Monday morning on Fort Dade Avenue claimed the life of a 20-year-old Spring Hill man. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that shortly before 8:00 am, a Dodge Dakota driven by the Spring Hill man was traveling eastbound on Fort Dade Avenue. A Ford F150, driven by a 48-year-old Brooksville man, was traveling westbound. Just east of a private driveway at 18092 Fort Dade Avenue, the Dodge Dakota crossed the centerline for unknown reasons and collided nearly head-on with the Ford F150.
Brooksville's wastewater situation more dire than thought
BROOKSVILLE – The city’s wastewater crisis is pushing the system closer to its limits — and exceeding those limits could cost a lot.
