WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man has been arrested for his alleged connection to a deadly stabbing in Wilkes-Barre .

On Tuesday, the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department stated they arrested Jaime Knights, 63, of Wilkes-Barre, who was wanted in connection to the homicide of 33-year-old Scott Knox .

Knights was arrested on July 25 in Bath, New York, and extradited to Luzerne County for arraignment on July 29.

Police have not stated if Justice Flenory, 23, of Wilkes-Barre, also charged in connection to Knox’s death, has been arrested.

Court documents state on May 7, Flenory and Knox were driving together and went to an alley near the Mofon Lounge to meet Knights and three other men around 3:30 a.m. Police say Knox was confronted by the five men about a drug deal and they began to assault him, police said.

During the assault Flenory, Knights, and the three men punched Knox and he was stabbed multiple times, as stated in the affidavit. Knox was able to flee from the assault and was later found injured in the 300 block of South River Street.

Knights was denied bail and is currently being held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility with a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 13.
