Mama June’s daughter Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird divorces husband Josh after six years as marriage is ‘irretrievably broken’

Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird has filed for divorce from her husband, Josh, after six years of marriage.

Pumpkin , 24, filed in their hometown of Wilkinson County, Georgia, on Thursday, and according to court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun, both parties have agreed to joint custody of their children.

The reality star also noted the reason for the split is that the marriage is “irretrievably broken.”

TMZ first reported the news, stating that the former couple’s settlement agreement includes a parenting plan to divvy up time to spend with their young kids.

They also will divide their children’s medical expenses and the cost of activities.

MOVING OUT

As per court documents, Pumpkin and Josh currently lease a $71,000 home under both their names, though Josh will eventually be removed from the contract, alluding that he’s moving out.

Pumpkin’s younger sister Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson , 18, also resides in the home, as Pumpkin previously took over guardianship from their mother June “Mama June” Shannon , 44.

The documents also state that Pumpkin and Josh waived their rights to alimony and that Josh has 60 days to remove his belongings from the home.

Pumpkin and Josh tied the knot in June 2018.

On Friday morning, Pumpkin shared a TikTok of her lip-singing to Zach Bryan’s somber track Pink Skies.

Supportive fans flooded the comments section to share their thoughts about her divorce from Josh.

“PUMPKIN NOOOOOOOO YOU AND JOSH WERE ROLL MODELS,” one user cried.

“This genuinely breaks my heart…I loved yall together so much,” another remarked.

“Pumpkin I’m so sad. Loved you and Josh together,” a third echoed.

Last June, fans questioned whether the duo had parted ways after Pumpkin shared a cryptic video on TikTok .

She previously sparked criticism for asking fans for funds on multiple occasions, including for Josh’s birthday.

Pumpkin has also lashed out at her mother for her lavish spending after not paying child support for Alana.

DEVASTATING LOSS

The family was rocked by tragedy in December when June’s daughter, Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, lost her battle with cancer .

Anna’s final days were documented on the latest season of their We TV show Mama June: Family Crisis.

June has been in a court war with Anna’s widow, Michael Cardwell, over custody of Anna’s daughter Kaitlyn , her oldest child from a previous relationship.

As of Friday morning, a verdict has yet to be revealed, although the trial ended weeks ago.
