Willshire Days pioneer still attends festival
WILLSHIRE—It was 60 years ago in 1964 when Willshire resident, Farrel Krall, as an active member of the Willshire Lions Club, chartered the first Willshire Days event. Since then, with the exception of one year when there was a major St. Marys River flood, Willshire Days has continued to celebrate the small western Van Wert County community.

The new set includes Superman and Lois Lane’s workplace, The Daily Planet, plus a bookstore, pizza shop, bakery, deli, and much more!
Update On Area Northwest Ohio Rite Aid Closures
Rite Aids local to our area have stated they, along with all other Rite Aid stores in Ohio and Michigan will be closing. This information has not yet been confirmed directly from Rite Aid corporate, however, Rite Aid stores in both Fulton, Lucas, and Defiance Counties have informed The Village Reporter that they will indeed be closing. Furthermore, stores in Hillsdale County and Jackson County in Michigan have confirmed this as well.
