    Police Reports: Wallet taken from shopping cart, multiple bike thefts

    These reports were pulled from the latest police summaries provided by departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe).

    WILMETTE

    June 9

    • An unlocked bicycle reportedly was stolen from near Isabella Street and Girard Avenue.

    June 7

    • An unlocked bicycle reportedly was stolen from the 700 block of Green Bay Road.

    June 6

    • A windowpane reportedly was broken and entry attempted to an auto body shop in the 1200 block of Green Bay Road.

    • Several items reportedly were stolen from Walgreens, 3232 Lake Ave.

    June 5

    • A package valued at $150 reportedly was stolen from the 1100 block of Central Avenue.

    June 3

    • Two fraudulent withdrawals totaling $80,000 reportedly were made from a resident’s bank account.

    June 1

    • A Wisconsin resident was arrested for reportedly attempting to fraudulently withdraw $3,000 using an altered driver’s license at North Shore Community Bank.

    May 31

    • An unlocked bicycle reportedly was stolen from the 700 block of Linden Avenue.

    May 24

    • A wallet reportedly was stolen from an unattended shopping cart at Jewel in the 400 block of Green Bay Road.

    WINNETKA

    June 1

    • More than $500 in unauthorized transactions reportedly were made to a resident’s credit card.

    GLENCOE

    June 4

    • An unlocked bicycle reportedly was stolen from Central School, 620 Greenwood Ave.

    June 3

    • Reported gunshots turned out to be fireworks in Lakefront Park.

    HIGHLAND PARK

    June 4

    • Cash reportedly was stolen from a hotel room at 1505 County Line Road.

    NORTHFIELD

    June 6

    • Multiple individuals reportedly were attempted to burglarize cars in the 200 block of Latrobe Avennue.

    June 5

    • Basketball equipment reportedly was stolen from Hi-Five Summer Camp at Christian Heritage Academy, 315 Waukegan Road. It was later returned.

    KENILWORTH

    No reported activity between May 24-31
