In response, Judge Beverly Cannone instructed the jury to continue their deliberations. Update: Jurors were unable to reach a verdict Friday and went home for the weekend at about 4:20 p.m. Shortly after 3:30 p.m., they told Judge Beverly Cannone that they wanted to continue deliberating until 4:15 p.m. instead of calling it a day. They will resume their deliberations Monday morning.

WILMINGTON — The Select Board reviewed and approved requests for town spaces and received communications and public comment during their meeting on Monday, June 24. Wilmington Police Chief Joe Desmond informed the board about the date proposed for National Night Out to be held at Rotary Park in connection with a request to use the space on and to put up promotional banners in advance. He said that their plan is to host the event on Aug. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. He assured the board that the signs wouldn’t be placed until after the 4th of July.
