Man Shot Dead by Forest Hills Station
A man was shot dead on Sunday night near the Forest Hills T station. Boston Police responded to a report of a person shot at New Washington Street and Arborway around 10:17 pm. Police located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Boston police officer struck by car in Dorchester during firearms investigation
A Boston police officer was taken to the hospital after he was hit by a car while responding to a call for individuals with guns in Dorchester late Tuesday night, police said. Officers were sent to 33 Stanton St. at 11:37 p.m. after receiving information about individuals with guns in that area, Sgt. Detective John Boyle, a spokesman for Boston Police, told MassLive. A vehicle then “took off” and hit an officer who had responded to the scene, Boyle said.
