Students from the Greeley-Evans School District 6 Gifted and Talented summer camp went on an educational trip to the Denver Aquarium. Cavanaugh from S. Christa McAuliffe STEM Academy enjoyed petting stingrays but made sure not to touch their tails. David also from S. Christa McAuliffe STEM Academy loved the flash flood area and petting a horseshoe crab. Benjamin from Scott Elementary had fun with the stingrays and experiencing the waterfall. All students enjoyed learning about oceans and rivers during the trip. Colorado State University Named One of the Best Large Employers
For the most part, Fort Collins and Northern Colorado as a whole absolutely love Colorado State University. Whether it’s cheering on the Rams on game day or heading to the stadium to watch some movies, it’s an awesome place that students and alumni have a lot of pride for.
Heath Middle School Class Offers Look At Greeley History
A Heath Middle School summer school class has completed an art project that honors local history, community and tradition. It’s called “The Heath Project 1955-1956, ” a two-columned project originated from Michael Sheehan, a member of the first graduating class of Heath Middle School. The Greeley Tribune reports local artist and gallery owner Colette Pitcher photographed the project and turned the pictures into a limited edition book to commemorate the work of the student artists, as well as images of Greeley from 1945-68 that Sheehan contributed.
