Governor Signs Wilhour Cottage Food Bill
Legislation dealing with “farmer’s markets” sponsored in the House by State Representative Blaine Wilhour, of Beecher City, has been signed into law by the governor. SB2617 provides that if a county government doesn’t have a local health department, or if their health department doesn’t provide the license, the county government shall enter into an agreement or contract with an adjacent local health department to register cottage food operations in the county’s jurisdiction:
