Anson Scout achieves Eagle rank
Nick Gower, of Anson, received the Eagle Scout rank, the highest award in Scouting, during a ceremony held on July 13 at the Garret Schenck School. Sandy River Ramblers to Play at Lincoln Home Lobsterbake August 10
The Annual Lobster & More community event returns to The Lincoln Home Saturday, August 10, with a lively five member bluegrass band, The Sandy River Ramblers. The fundraiser will be held 4-7pm under a large tent, rain or shine. Mouthwatering Maine lobsters, barbecue chicken, clams, Damariscotta River oysters, corn on the cob, potato and pasta salads, and delicious blueberry cake will be served. Wine, beer and a soecialty drink will be available for purchase.
