Tom Scott Departs WILQ And The Industry After 43 Years.
Backyard Broadcasting WILQ Williamsport, PA (105.1) Production Director and midday host Tom Scott departs the business on Wednesday. After a 43-year radio career, Scott tells Country Insider, “it’s time to do something else,” adding that, “It has been an honor being part of the 50+-year country music heritage of WILQ. I’ll be spending more time traveling and on my vintage business and expanding the Central PA Vintage Fest brand we started this year.”

Governor Josh Shapiro visited Bedford and Blair Counties this past Friday as he continues to tout a new Law that increases oversight of Pharmacy Benefit Managers. Construction moving along for Lewisburg Wawa store
Lewisburg, Pa. — Construction is moving along on a new Wawa convenience store and gas station on Route 15 in Kelly Township. All approvals have been completed by Wawa and they are moving along with site prep work, according to an email from David Hassenplug, chairman of the Kelly Township Board of Supervisors. Allenwood, Pa. — A Scranton woman was arrested after she concealed $527 of items in a bag at a dollar store and left without paying.
