MIDDLEBURY TOWNSHIP, Pa (WENY) -- Authorities say a seven hour search for a kayaker happened in Middlebury Township on July 27th. According to the Middlebury Township Volunteer Fire Department, authorities were called out just after 9 a.m. for a report of a missing kayaker who was possibly trapped underwater at Ives Run Lane.

Downtown Lock Haven welcomes 'Cruise-in'
Lock Haven, Pa. — Downtown Lock Haven hosted its Final Friday this weekend with a special Cruise-in Car Show on Main Street, along with live music, great food, and shopping. Vehicles from Central PA Street Machines came and filled Main Street for "Wheels on Main," showcasing cars from all eras. The MixTape band also performed live, as the downtown crowd enjoyed a special showing of "Cars" at the historical Roxy theater, as well as deals at local shops and restaurants. Nonprofit provides free flights for medical patients
LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — This isn't the first time Michelle LaBar has strapped herself onto a jet plane at Hazleton Regional Airport in Luzerne County. In fact, she has been taking free flights from Hazleton to West Virginia for the past four years thanks to Patient Airlift Services or PALS Skyhope, a nonprofit organization that provides free flights to those battling illnesses and needing to travel elsewhere for medical services.
