Montgomery, Pa. — Two men were charged after they engaged in a mutually-agreed fight in Montgomery, police said. Police: Inmate caught concealing Suboxone in clothing
Lewisburg, Pa. — An inmate in Union County was charged for concealing Suboxone while he was incarcerated, police say. A correctional officer at Union County Prison found the Suboxone on March 26 while doing a search on 22-year-old Coal Nevin Inch. The officer noticed there was a rip in the waistband of Inch's shorts. Delays possible Friday on Lewisburg River Bridge
Lewisburg, Pa. — Delays may occur Friday as a contractor does pavement marking on the Lewisburg River Bridge (Route 45). Work will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 26. The work is part of a preservation project on the bridge that connects Lewisburg Borough, Union County, to West Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County. Flaggers will control Route 45 eastbound and westbound traffic to allow for pavement marking installation between Water Street in Lewisburg and Route 405 in West Chillisquaque. RAM Services of Michigan is the contractor for preservation of the bridge over the West Branch Susquehanna River.
