This week just got a little brighter (so to speak). The northern lights will be visible throughout the United States this week, including from Pennsylvania. Woman hits, spits on state trooper
Danville, Pa. — A Danville woman hit a state trooper in the head and spit on him as he was processing her for a previous incident. Trp. Joel Zimmerman says on July 21 a trooper was processing Isabella Mannino, 21, for an incident in Mahoning Township when she allegedly hit him in the left side of the head. Mannino then spit on the trooper's chin and neck. Mannino was charged with felony aggravated assault, assault of a law enforcement officer, misdemeanor resisting arrest, and summary harassment. Charges were filed at the office of District Judge William W. Wilt III, who set bail at $20,000. Mannino's preliminary hearing is set for July 30 at Wilt's office. Docket Sheet
