WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A man died on Friday after getting pinned in between a trailer and loading dock, according to a Winston-Salem Police Department news release.

At 1:47 pm, Winston-Salem officers responded to a crash in a parking lot on Kimwell Drive.

Arrest warrant issued for Greensboro driver after woman killed in hit-and-run while putting up garage sale signs, police say

Arriving officers learned a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle backing up to a loading dock. The driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Investigators say the pedestrian, Joshua Kaleb Mullis, 30, of Clemmons, was between a truck and trailer and a loading dock while the vehicle was backing up to the loading dock.

Mullis was hit by the trailer and momentarily pinned between the trailer and the loading dock.

He was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

    The driver was not injured.
