2 face murder charges after fatal shooting in Winston-Salem on South Sunset Drive, police say

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A man and woman were arrested and face murder charges after a fatal shooting in Winston-Salem last month , according to a Winston-Salem Police Department news release.

Just after midnight on June 20, police got a call about a shooting on South Sunset Drive.

When they got to the scene, they found John Wesley Ingram, 28, dead from “apparent gunshot wounds.” The address they were called to was also listed as Ingram’s home address.

On Friday, Jaykora Tashon Hart, 28, of Winston-Salem, was arrested and charged with felony conspiracy to commit murder and felony general murder.

She was given no bond.

On Wednesday, Jaykwon Ray Hart, 27, of Winston-Salem, was arrested and charged with felony firearm by a felon and felony general murder.

He was given no bond.
