    Ribbon has been cut on new dog park in the Ohio Valley

    WINTERSVILLE, Ohio (WTRF) Dogs all across Jefferson County are wagging their tails with excitement.

    The brand new dog park in Wintersville is officially open.

    It was named after Edward P. Laman.

    Local officials along with community members came out to see the ribbon cut!

    The park is directly behind the Wintersville Municipal Building and is open seven days a week from dawn to dusk!

    There are benches, a walking path, and separate areas for small dogs under 30 pounds and large dogs over 30 pounds.
