    Winterville Chamber celebrates new businesses

    The Winterville Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of three new businesses in town with ribbon-cutting events in April. The chamber provided the following updates about the businesses.

    Carolina Family Pool & Patio was celebrated on April 6. They are an outdoor living, primarily pool and spa business expanding from Goldsboro located at 2323 Elaines Way in Winterville. Chamber director Rebecca Caveness, Chairman Alton Wadford and President Glenda White among others helped co-owner Zach Darden his staff and family mark the occasion. Visit carolinafamilypool.com/.

    The new T-Mobile Kiosk inside Sam’s Club celebrated its grand opening on April 10 as part of a nationwide contract with all Sam’s Clubs. The team is eager to be involved in the community, Caveness said. Wadford, district manager of T-Mobile Vanessa Krunich, local manager Gabriella Guevara, Sam’s Club sales and training manager Sloan Burnette, local Sam’s Club manager Kenterra Pace, chamber board member Saul Horowitz and Caveness were part of the event.

    A celebration at Recovery Journey Services on April 12 wrapped up the busy week. They are a substance abuse and mental health counseling center and provide DWI and anger management services. The new office at 188 Main St. is the second location, with the first in Pinetops. Wadford, White and Caveness joined the staff and family of RJS alongside CEO Tyeasia Dorsey.
