STEVENS POINT – Officials are looking for a Portage County Jail inmate after he did not return after a three-hour furlough Friday. Matthew J. Garsomke was released for a three-hour furlough at 10:30 a.m. Friday. He was due to report back to the jail at about 1:30 p.m. Friday, but Garsomke did not return, according to a news release from the Portage County Sheriff’s Office.
