Did you miss the Fourth of July fireworks in Wisconsin Rapids? Here are some nearby shows set for this weekend.

Did you miss Thursday night’s fireworks show in Wisconsin Rapids because of rain? Or, are you looking to extend your Fourth of July celebration? If so, here is a list of nearby fireworks shows set to take place Friday and Saturday night.

Pittsville

About two hours before the fireworks were supposed to begin Thursday evening as part of the annual Pittsville Fourth of July Celebration in Riverside Park, event organizers announced on Facebook that they would be rescheduled “due to weather moving in faster than expected.”

They were rescheduled to 10 p.m. Friday. Organizers said they will have food stands open starting at 7 p.m., but due to permit restrictions only soda and water will be available for purchase for beverages.

Wisconsin Rapids

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will have a fireworks show after their game Friday night against the Green Bay Rockers at Witter Field, according to their website. Game time is 6:35 p.m. For ticket information, visit northwoodsleague.com/wisconsin-rapids-rafters.

Rome

Head to Lake Sherwood Lodge, 1146 W. Queens Way in the town of Rome, for an Independence Day Celebration from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday. The event will include food and beer vendors, a boat parade at 1 p.m., cornhole tournament at 1 p.m., children's activities from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., game tent, performances by the Shermalot Juniors Ski Team at 4:30 p.m. and main show at 7:20 p.m., music by Southbound from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and fireworks at dusk.

Stevens Point

Friendship

The Castle Rock Lions Club will present Patriotic Days on Saturday and Sunday at Castle Rock County Park, 2397 Adams County Z in Friendship. Events on Saturday will include a car show starting at 9 a.m. and fireworks at dusk. Vendors will be selling food, popcorn, novelties, soda and beer. A pancake breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday.
