Bluewater Technologies in Wixom, a women-owned experimental agency specializing in sensory storytelling across digital and physical canvases, announces Brittney Bemb, its vice president of integration operations, has been elected by her peers to join the Dealer Advisory Council (DAC) at Edge, a leading partnership organization in the audio visual industry.

Edge’s DAC consists of a group of elected integration leaders who advise Edge, an association of likeminded AV industry players on programs, strategies, and initiatives.

Edge, which was founded in 2001 under the name USAV, formed an association of likeminded AV industry players who could partner with top AV manufactures, distributors, and service providers to deliver compelling AV solutions for organizations across the world. Edge’s mission is to create a collaborative environment where members can share operational insights, trade secrets, and innovative ideas. These collaborations are crucial for advancing the industry, ensuring that projects are handled by trusted professionals, and ultimately delivering exceptional results.

At Bluewater Technologies, Bemb works with the operations team to ensure projects are running as effectively and efficiently as possible while providing an excellent and memorable customer service experience. A lot of Bemb’s efforts go into making sure the internal and external clients can accomplish their current and future goals needed to thrive.

Bemb’s election into Edge’s DAC also ties her closely to the Buyers Group at Edge, which focuses on strategic purchasing and optimizing value for clients. She will also be engaging with the Champions Group, an exclusive assembly of companies similar in size to Bluewater. This group emphasizes operational excellence and camaraderie, providing a platform for exchanging ideas and best practices to enhance market performance and secure reliable partnerships.

Edge’s Dealer Advisory Council is a vital part of the organization’s structure. Comprised of six members, including Bemb, the DAC plays a pivotal role in guiding the strategic direction of Edge. Bemb, is one of only two women and the youngest member on the council. This recognition highlights Bemb’s dedication, expertise, and exceptional achievements as well as her potential to drive positive change.

“We are so proud of Brittney and this amazing honor,” says Chanel Schoeneberger, executive officer and partner at Bluewater Technology. “Brittney continues to strengthen our team with her insights and solutions in the AV industry, and we are thrilled that she will be representing Bluewater and bringing her expertise towards shaping Edge’s programs, strategies, and initiatives.”

Becoming a partner at Edge involves a commitment to regular meetings and active participation in shaping the organization’s programs and strategies. With more than 100 international integrators and 300-plus office locations, Edge represents a significant network of professionals driving the AV industry forward.

“I am thrilled to have been elected to the Edge Dealer Advisory Council,” says Bemb. “Representing Bluewater Technologies as part of this prestigious organization is both an honor and a responsibility, reflecting the trust placed in our vision and commitment to drive innovation and excellence within our industry.”

Bemb’s role on the DAC should help grow Bluewater’s capabilities and strengthen its representation withing the broader international community. By participating in specialized groups focused on champions, operations, and women’s initiatives, Bemb is poised to bring unique perspectives and invaluable experience to the table. Her involvement underscores the importance of elevating women’s roles in the industry, leveraging their expertise to enhance collaborative efforts and drive innovation.

“Women excel at community-driven thinking. This school of thought allows a leader to bring groups to common ground with a high level of collaboration thus bringing in more buy-in with decisions and direction. Nothing is stronger than a team with a common goal,” says Bemb.
