Alcohol use is suspected in a head-on crash in White Lake Township that injured both drivers Tuesday night, police said. According to the White Lake Police Department, preliminary information shows a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 44-year-old Milford Township resident was eastbound on Highland Road (M-59) when it crossed over into the westbound lane and collided with a 2008 Buick Lacrosse driven by a 28-year-old Highland Township resident. The crash happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. in the westbound curb lane, west of Pontiac Lake Road.
