NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) – An Evans teenager was arrested for allegedly abusing a toddler at a church daycare.

According to reports, 19-year-old Haevin Stoddard was working at the Fairview Presbyterian Early Childhood Center in North Augusta in May when she was accused of pulling a 2-year-old’s elbow out of the socket. The child’s parents reported that they had to take the toddler to the emergency room to have it reset.

While reviewing video footage, the center director said that incident look liked an accident, but saw Stoddard doing some other concerning things to another child, reports say.

Stoddard allegedly kicked a table at a child’s stomach, kicked a chair from under a child, placed a child in time out for an excessive period of time, and held a child’s head down against a table.

    Stoddard was fired immediately.

She’s been charged with Felony Unlawful Neglect of Child or Helpless Person by Legal Custodian.
