Augusta Tech President discusses new business incubator, upcoming semester

(WJBF) – Next week, students at Augusta Technical College will kick off a new semester. At the helm of that institution is Dr. Jermaine Whirl.

Dr. Whirl joined Mary Morrison Wednesday on NewsChannel 6 at Noon.

He talked about the most recent project, a two million dollar business incubator and micro-enterprise center in downtown Augusta.

According to Dr. Whirl’s bio , he arrived at Augusta Tech in 2020. Since then, Whirl completed a full re-brand of the institution, implemented a five year strategic plan and established five new academic schools.
