Reynolds St. between 9th and 10th St. closed due to TechNet Convention

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Drivers need to be aware that a portion of Reynolds Street will be closed starting on Friday, August 16th.

According to the city of Augusta website, Reynolds Street between 9th and 10th Street will be closed from Friday, August 16th until Friday, August 23rd due to the TechNet Convention that began on August 16th.

Traffic engineers say that a detour will be in place for this closure, and they are asking for drivers to please use Broad Street or Greene Street to navigate through downtown Augusta.

The website also states that access to the 9th Street parking deck will be maintained throughout the conference.

Drivers are to expect delays through this area.
