    3 killed killed in crash after fleeing traffic stop on Deans Bridge Road

    RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Three people are dead after a fatal crash in Richmond County.

    On Friday, August 16, a Blythe Police Officer attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 7:53 p.m. The driver of the vehicle then reportedly fled onto Deans Bridge Road near Etterlee Road, crossing into oncoming traffic where he hit another vehicle, head on.

    Officials state that the three occupants of the fleeing vehicle were killed in the impact. They have not yet been identified.

    The occupants of the other vehicle have been transported to a local hospital. No word yet on their conditions.

    The Richmond County Coroner and GSP are investigating.
