PINEY FLATS, Tenn. (WJHL) — A drive-through-only Dunkin Donuts is coming to a site next to a Piney Flats convenience store.

GPM, the company that owns the BP Roadrunner Market at Highway 11-E and Allison Road, has pulled a building permit with the City of Johnson City for a lot it owns next door.

Court must try to find jury in Sullivan Co. for Boswell trial, judge rules

The permit estimates a $1.3 million cost for the building. Plans show a 1,530-square-foot brick building that appears to use the “Dunkin GO” model. The first such stores in Tennessee opened a couple of years ago.

The permit is good until January 2025.

News Channel 11 has reached out to GPM and is waiting to hear more details on the timeline and specific elements of the Dunkin GO concept.
