The driver then reportedly lost control of the Toyota, ran off the road on the left, crossed the median and became airborne. The Toyota then hit a tractor-trailer that was traveling south, continued off the road and hit a tree.

The driver and passenger of the Toyota were both injured in the crash, according to THP. They were reportedly wearing seatbelts.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured in the crash.
